We are delighted to announce that Scotland’s richest Squash tournament, the Edinburgh Sports Club Open #esco is back! Normally held at the end of this month, it is now going to be held 21st - 24th March with the now snappier title The Edinburgh Open #teo.
Thanks to the continued support of a very generous member the prize fund is a whopping $50,000! The tournament uniquely runs a pro tournament and a graded tournament in parallel, allowing amateurs to rub shoulders with the world’s top players (the controversial Mostafa Asal has already expressed an interest in entering).
Hopefully ESC members and Scotland’s top players, Greg Lobban (WR 33), Georgia Adderley (WR 36), Rory Stewart (WR 41), Alison Thomson (WR 80) can make a meaningful impact! Tickets will be on sale at the end of February when the stellar lineup will be announced.
We are still looking for a commercial partner/partners to support TEO so if your business would be interested in partnering with ESC please let us know as this is an ideal opportunity for a progressive company to get on board as Squash gets on the Road to Olympics2028 #LA
In the meantime follow Georgia, Rory and Greg in another flagship tournament, the Tournament of Champions. Held in New York’s magnificent Central Station the action starts today! Follow them using these links to get up to the minute news.
