Welcome to the Edinburgh Sports Club. We are a thriving rackets club in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End just a short brisk walk from Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle. We have six squash courts, three floodlit tennis courts, three brand new floodlit padel courts, a hardball doubles court, first class table-tennis facility, a gym, bar, restaurant and barbecue area. The club is hidden away on an island in the middle of the Water of Leith World Heritage site.

We are a family orientated members club that anyone can join. We recognise how important it is to be introduced to other members and playing partners so whatever your level and whatever your sport, we will make sure you meet the right people.
Coaching forms an integral part of our club and is available for all our sports for both adults and juniors of all levels. It’s never too early to learn!
There is an array of organised activities to help you get integrated into the club, mini-leagues, club nights, handicap tournaments, mini-team competitions, squash festivals, graded tournaments, teams, tours and international events.
Our beautifully appointed Bar Restaurant and Lounge areas gives you the perfect excuse to unwind after a hard game on court or a hard day at the office. Have a refreshment, read the papers, watch the big screen, there is always something going on.
Curry nights, Quiz nights, Bistro Nights, Octoberfest, Mayhem, the list goes on. You might even participate in the odd Karaoke Night! The restaurant offers excellent weekday lunches and you can hire the venue for parties and special occasions.
